Much of Real Estate is about communication and solving problems. Getting my buyers into this home of their dreams took nine months. It had been empty for at least ten years. It was in an estate and the heirs just never got around to selling it. The place was like a time capsule. Furniture, appliances, stereo speakers, textiles, the works all looking like who did it and ran! All in surprisingly good condition! Structurally very sound!

There as no power. Actually, the utility had taken away the electrical pole and never replaced it! That meant estimates on all new systems including a new septic and well as well as new plumbing and electric. No juice meant a lotta unanswered questions! So, getting a rehab loan was a challenge and the sellers were concerned about the place appraising not being a cash deal. So things gotta little complicated and actually came to a halt!

We changed lawyers and lenders midstream got a favorable appraisal and things moved ahead. I am happy to say that we solved the problems head on. We never gave up, we persevered and finally closed. 

The place is going to be gorgeous! There’s nothing that some elbow grease, grit, patience and a vision can’t transform!
